TITLE: Junior Systems Engineer - Novell Focus

The ability and desire to build strong customer relationships, driving issues to resolution are extremely important.

Qualified candidates must be able to work within a team made up of remote team members and must exhibit excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. 100% accurate time reporting skills are a must.

Candidates must pass security background check and drug screening test.

Experience:
Must have at least 1-2 years of experience supporting and administering workstation and server operating systems. Experience as a helpdesk or field support engineer supporting a high-availability, enterprise computing environment.

Technical Skills:
- MCP, MCSA, MCDST, CCA, or CNA preferred
- Windows 200/2003 & AD administration
- NetWare & eDirectory administration
- Novell Client support
- Windows desktop application support
- Websense, Fortigate, or similar web appliance administration
- Demonstrated experience participating in projects including hardware and software deployment, upgrades, etc.
- Knowledge of processes and procedures involved in diagnosing and resolving server/workstation issues in a client/server environment
- Solid knowledge of Windows 2000/2003, Windows NT, XP, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer and Ethernet LANs.
- Experience managing backup solutions.
- Experience managing corporate Anti-virus and Anti-spyware platforms using tools such as ePolicy Orchestrator
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Requires work schedule flexibility with after-hours support and on-call availability.
- Customer service attitude with a positive and helpful attitude sufficient to deal with users who are often frustrated and upset.
- Ability to work under the constraints of strict deadlines and time pressures with minimal direct supervision.
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
